MEDICAL

We are a private physician's office providing all services of general medicine and
surgery, including abortion procedures. We are not a high volume patient clinic, thus
ensuring excellent medical and surgical care on a one to one basis.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of All Women's Medical Center are safety, support, and responsiveness
to both community and patient needs.
SERVICES
We provide all services of general medicine and surgery, including abortion procedure.
Medical and surgery abortion are offered. Abortion services are performed up to 15.5
weeks. All our services are strictly confidential.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ABORTIONS
All patients are required to have a government issued photo identification with birthdate.
All minors have to inform their parents of their intentions to have an abortion and they
must be accompanied by a parent with birth certificate and ID's. Must know blood
group and Rh type at time of appointment. (If unknown, please call office well in
advance of your appointment) If you are having sedation, you must be accompanied by
an adult on discharge. You may not drive a vehicle for 24 hours after discharge.
No children are allowed inside the office.
TEXAS ABORTION LAW
The Texas abortion law requires a mandatory 24 hour waiting period prior to
performing an abortion. The 24 hours waiting period begins at the patient's initial
consultation. This law requires that we provide information regarding your procedure,
consent forms and other information known as informed consent to our patients.
Informed consent is information from our physician plus the Texas Department of
Health publications "A Woman's Right to know" and “A Woman Right to Know
Resource Directory".
